We had a nice turn-out for Jon’s first line dance work shop at 2LF February 17. He covered both “Thunderfoot” and the “Stationary Cha Cha”. There were 14 of us and I think I can safely say we really had a good time.
So we are going to have another line dance workshop with Jon next Wednesday, March 3rd, at 7pm. The cost is still $5 per person.
Make any suggestions regarding line dances you would like Jon to teach. Also, let me know if you are interested but cannot make it on March 3. If interest remains strong we will keep bringing Jon back. Please pass this on to anyone else you think may be interested.

We are planning a Line Dance Workshop at 2LF. Jon Serletic will be the instructor. There will be one 1 hour lesson. The cost is $5 per person. The date and time will be determined after we see how many people are interested. Line dances are very popular at the nearby Saddle Up Saloon & Dancehall. Starting here on Monday, November 16th, Jon Serletic will teach the most popular dances. The classes will run on Mondays from 8 to 9 pm through the end of December. This class is $12 to drop in for an hour, or $46 for 4 consecutive weeks.

Sheila will be teaching line dances this month for her Friday potluck class. She is planning on emphasizing the line dances we do the most at our parties: the Electric Slide, the Cha Cha Slide, the Shim Sham, and Jack’s Foxtrot. She is also considering the Cupid Shuffle and the Macarena.
You can drop in any Friday at 7pm and the cost is just $10 [no class on 5/1/09].

We are adding a new class on Fridays at 7:30 pm, starting February 1st: line dancing. We’ll teach a mix of party favorites, Jack’s line dance, and one or two you may not have seen before. You don’t need a partner, and you can drop in any Friday for the class. The cost will be $11 per class you attend.
On the 2nd and the 4th Fridays of the month, stick around after the line dance class for a dance party at 8:30. It is free if you are taking any class at Two Left Feet, or just $5 otherwise. February 8th will be our valentine’s day party.
