Post subscriptions

If you would like to be notified whenever someone posts a new item on the blog, click on Subscribe at the top of the blog, and enter your email address.  You will then receive an email every time a new post appears on the post.

If you do not see the emails, they are probably being filtered out by a spam blocker.  All email from the Two Left Feet blog will have a subject that starts with “[Two Left Feet]”.  See Michael if you need help setting up your email to let email from the blog through.

You can control the format of the email you receive by logging in, clicking on the profile tab, then clicking on the subscriptions tab, and setting the options.

Comment subscriptions

If you click on the last line above a post, the one that says “No Comments”, “[2] comments”, etc., you can comment on what you have read and read other people’s comments.  Just below the space for your comment, there is a checkbox that you can check to be notified of any replies.  If you just want to follow a discussion without making a comment of your own, at the bottom of the comments there is a place for you to do that.

As with the post subscriptions, if you subscribe for new comments and do not see the notifications that you should be seeing, you probably need to set your spam blocker to let emails through that have subjects starting with “[Two Left Feet]”.

If any of this does not make any sense, stop by the front desk, and I’ll walk you through how to subscribe or set up a filter.

Update: It looks like swing will remain on Mondays, with Pamm teaching starting March 12th.

This evening’s classes have been cancelled because of the inclement weather.  Classes will resume next week at their regular times.

Stay warm.  Stay safe.

Thanks to all who braved the cold to come to the New Beginnings singles group yesterday evening.  We are making the singles dance a monthly event, on the second Sunday evening of the month.  The next dance will be at Two Left Feet on Sunday, March 11, at 7 pm.

(Two Left Feet also has dance parties scheduled for Friday, February 16th and Friday, March 2nd, at 8:30 pm.  They are open to all Two Left Feet students for free, and to the general public for $5).

Ballroom Dance We are having a showcase Sunday, February 11th, from 2 to 4 pm.  It’s a chance for the students here to show off what they have been working on lately, and to introduce new people to the studio — invite your friends!  Anyone currently taking lessons here, or who might want to, is encouraged to attend.  We will have open dancing and refreshments.  Tickets are $5.
